Meet Your Board Of Directors

President - Dennis Moore, CPIM, CSCP
Dennis has worked in Operations Management for 30 years. He earned his CPIM certification in 2000 and the CSCP certification in 2008. He has been a member of APICS since 1997 and became an active volunteer in 2008. Dennis lives in Eastampton, NJ with his lovely wife Janet.

Executive Vice President - Peter Blok, PhD
Peter has 28 years industrial experience in pharmaceuticals and biopharma manufacturing. Most of those years were spent in manufacturing & supply chain operational roles in the US, Europe, and Asia. Pete has commercial drug product launch and regulatory experience in the US, Europe and Latin America. One of Pete’s job rotations was to lead an IT organization where he implemented several systems for manufacturing and supply chain including RFID-Counterfeit Prevention, Shop floor controls (MES), and multiple ERP systems.

Pete is currently a Partner at Pharma Team, a consulting company in NJ. Previously he has held positions as the VP Global Supply Chain for Celgene Corporation, VP Pharmaceutical Industry Consulting for Invensys, and Director, US Operations Planning for Novartis Pharmaceuticals (Sandoz). Pete holds PhD in Chemical Physics from NYU and obtained his training in finance and operations management at NYU Stern and The Wharton School of Business.

Recording Secretary – Laurie Strehl
Laurie is an executive with 30 years of research and supply chain experience in the pharmaceutical products and biotechnology industry.  She has worked in basic and applied research, procurement, enterprise system implementation, and data and process improvements.

Laurie is currently an Associate Director in the Enterprise Data Operations group of Technical Operations at Bristol-Myers Squibb Pharmaceuticals.  Laurie holds BA in Biology from Rollins College.  She received her CSCP certification in 2009.

Vice President of Programs – Kerry DiCiano
Kerry has 20 years of experience in Distribution and Warehousing activities, eighteen of which was spent in the Distribution/Manufacturing industry at Okidata. He was a key player in several big moves at Okidata over the years and most recently a huge reformation project that actually put four Oki facilities into one. Along with the success of the reformation project he was tasked with a SMI project which had to reduce the amount of inventory by tens of millions of dollars at the North American Head Quarters.

Kerry has taken all five modules of the APICS CPIM Program. He is presently a Team Leader at Okidata. His responsibilities at Okidata consists of controlling a 60 plus million dollar inventory along with various other tasks which include Supply Chain Management activities like Shipping (Distribution), Receiving, Return Goods Authorized, Production and any related SAP activities.

Vice President of Finance – Robert L. Wetherill, Jr. MBA, CPIM, BOCP-BOE
Robert is a senior level ERP and Business Intelligence specialist with over 28 years experience in the field, focusing on Distribution, Manufacturing and Financials at the functional and technical level. He has a BA Degree from Kutztown University and a MBA from Temple University.

Robert has been consulting for Celgene Corporation and has recently taken employment with Celgene as an Enterprise Data Warehouse Architect, where he is helping to set the direction for Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse technologies

Robert currently serves as Vice President-Finance of the APICS PRSJ(Princeton/South Jersey) Chapter, is a Past President and has been an active board member for over 9 years. He is also active with Rotary International, where he has served on a local District Board as Secretary.

Over the past 12 years, Robert has specialized in JDEdwards and Oracle ERP systems, is certified in Distribution and Manufacturing, and has focused on the following:
Functional –  Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Distribution, Financials
Technical – Data Collection, Database Reporting, Business Intelligence

He has consulted domestically and internationally with numerous companies in the following verticals:Pharmaceutical, Medical, Industrial, Automotive, Food, Electronic.

Vice President of Education – John Zoller, CFPIM, CIRM
John is one of the original Chapter organizers. He has held many positions on the Board including President. He has served APICS at the District level as VP of Membership, and participates in the PRSJ Presidents Advisory Council. His materials management experience covers over 36 years in electronics, cosmetics and fragrances, specialty chemicals, nutrition products, and industrial adhesives. John has earned two APICS certifications and is a Master Instructor of the CPIM courseware. He resides in East Windsor, NJ with his wife Bonnie.

Education Committee – Minh-Thu Vo
Minh has nearly 15 years of supply chain experience, and is currently a Demand Planner for Rhodia Inc in Cranbury, NJ.  She's been a member of the Princeton South Jersey Chapter since 2010 and this is her first assignment with the Board of Directors.  Minh earned her CSCP certification in August of 2010.

Vice President of Membership – Bryan Warshofsky, CPIM
Bryan has been a member of the Chapter since 2001. During this period, he has served in various capacities on the Board of Directors including Programs, Finance and Executive Vice President. In 2003, he earned his CPIM certification. Bryan's experience is in materials management, purchasing and supply chain as well as the implementation of ERP systems, for companies in the printing and homebuilding industries. Bryan lives in Marlboro, NJ with his wife and two children.

Vice President of Marketing – Blair Williams, CFPIM, CSCP, Jonah
FBlair joined APICS in 1979 and certified CPIM in 1982. He worked in AT&T Submarine Systems as Director of Materials and Manufacturing Engineering for factories in NJ and PA. Blair retired in 1999 and presently teaches various ‘Operations’ topics in a graduate program at NYU –Polytechnic University.

He has been on the PRMO/PRSJ board of directors since 1999 and has held most positions on the Board, including President from 2002-2003. Blair currently serves APICS Corporate on the CPIM Basics certification and curriculum council and as a subject matter expert for CSCP. He lives in Monroe Twp, NJ.

Marketing Committee -Maureen Kettner
Maureen has been an APICS member since 2000 and has recently joined of the Board of Directors. Maureen currently serves as Logistics Manager with Princeton Instruments (PI).  She has worked in Operations for over 25 years in various roles such as Materials Manager, Production Control Supervisor, and General Manager.    She has earned 6 Sigma Black Belt Certification and has completed 3 of the 5 CPIM modules.

Maureen has been instrumental in the implementation of many ERP systems.  One of Maureen's current work functions at PI is as Project Leader (for Operations) of Epicor where the goal of the project is to incorporate multi-company's Manufacturing, Engineering, Sales, Distribution, and Accounting needs into one ERP software solution to help provide a single point of accountability and rapid return.

Marketing Committee -James Masotti
James graduated college in 2008 after studying in the US, Germany, and Japan when he started working as an implementation consultant for CSB-System International, a German ERP software company which specializes in meeting the unique demands of the food industry. For the 3 years he held this position he helped customers in the US, Canada, Germany and the Caribbean. Specifically he was responsible for implementing solutions to improve sales and procurement processes, inventory control, production scheduling, and reporting across these areas.  James was then a buyer at Perry Videx, the world’s largest used process equipment dealer. James now works at Campbell Soup Company as a Continuous Replenishment Analyst, where he orders and manages the inventory at the company’s largest 3PL warehouse, supports the customer service analysts for all VMI and JMI customers, and provides analytics for business leaders. James joined APICS in March 2011, and is currently pursuing his CPIM. This is his first assignment with the Board of Directors. He resides in Turnersville, NJ with his wife Kaitlyn.

Newsletter Editor - Barry Jedic, CSCP
Barry Jedic is joined the chapter in February 2009. He became involved with the board of directors and accepted his first assignment on the board as the newsletter editor which he continues to hold this year. His expertise is in supply chain and quality management with over 20 years experience in two fortune 500 companies. He currently works for the Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory in Quality Assurance. He looks forward to continuing to advance the chapter’s newsletter and the value it brings to the chapter members. Barry lives in Jackson, NJ with his wife Olga.

Director of Arrangements - North Dave Otten

Dave has 20 years of experience in Operations Management, for companies in the Printing and Home Automations business. He earned his CPIM designation in 2004 and the CSCP certification in 2008. Has been a member of APICS since 1991 and a recently became an active board member in August of 2010. Before joining our Chapter Dave was a member of the Central Jersey Chapter. Dave lives in Matawan, NJ with his wife and two children, Kelly and Robby.

Director of Arrangements - South Dana Jacobsen

This is my first assignment with the board of directors. I recently graduated from James Madison University in May 2009 with a BS in Mathematics. I also have a European Marketing Minor from my semester abroad to Antwerp, Belgium. I am just beginning my new job at Univeg in Swedesboro, NJ working with inventory. I currently live at home in Mount Laurel, NJ.

Director of Employment -Matthew Wizeman
Matt joined APICS in 2009 and became a member of the Princeton South Jersey Chapter in 2011.  This is his first position on the Board of Directors.  His business experience includes work in new product development, project management, manufacturing and operations.  Matt received his BS in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University and his MBA from Bentley University.  He is currently a Product Manager for Goodrich Corporation and expects to complete his CSCP certification in July of 2011.

Director of Company Coordinator – George Lazarrides, CSCP, CPIM
George has been a member of the chapter since 1996 and a board member since 1999. He was past President of the chapter from June 2007 till June 2009. George earned his CPIM certification in 2002. He has over 20 years of experience as a Corporate Production Planner for Rhodia, located in Cranbury NJ. George lives in Lawrenceville NJ with his wife and dog.

Company Coordinator – Frank Abatangelo, CPIM
Frank's career has covered over 30+ years, holding positions as VP Operations, Director of Industrial Engineering, Director Manufacturing and Distribution Systems, Plant Manager and Principal Supply Chain Consultant. He has worked in corporations ranging from a small 200 person shop to a facility employing 1,500 people.

His formal education is from various educational institutions such as Central Michigan University were I obtained my Graduate Degree in Logistics, Thomas Edison State College were I obtained my BSBA in Industrial Management and Brookdale Community College were I obtained my A.A.S. in computer science. Frank holds a CPIM certificate and is a Certified Lead Instructor in CPIM and Lean Enterprise courses He is presently working toward his CSCP certification.

Presidents Advisory Council – James O’Donnell, CPIM, CIRM
Jim has been a member of APICS since 1985. He achieved CPIM in 1991 and CIRM in 1994 and has been a certified instructor for both certifications since 1995. Jim started his membership with the Northern New Jersey Chapter and transferred to our chapter in 1997 where he was our Executive Vice President. Jim was President for our Chapter in 1999-2000 and has remained on the board of directors in various capacities. He is married to Betty and has two sons, Brian and Hugh.

Member at Large – Dave Hollinger, CPIM, CSCP
Dave has been a member of APICS since 1991 and a PRSJ board member since 2002. He has served as Newsletter Editor and currently is the Employment Director. Dave is one of the instructors for CPIM, CSCP, Lean, and Global Supply courses. Professionally, he works with small and medium size companies to increase profits by introducing and implementing Lean, & Green, concepts. Dave and his family have lived in Ocean Township for over 25 years.
