Special Baseball Game Event:
Trenton Thunder Game

Once again this year, we will be holding a PDM at a Trenton Thunder Baseball Game. Last year’s outting proved to be a very enjoyable evening for many members, so we are going to do it again!

The date for the game is Wednesday May 23rd . We will start the evening at 6:15PM, with a short presentation from Gary Pezzuti speaking about career planning. The game will begin at 7:00PM. We will have a suite to watch the game from, “ballpark food” will be provided and the Thunder will be playing the Akron Aeros.

Registration for the game is now open. Anyone who wants to attend the game will need to register and prepay in advance as we will need to know the number of tickets to reserve. Spouses and friends are welcome

Looking forward to it being a great event again this year.

Speaker:Gary Pezzuti

What's In It For Me?

Many questions arise when one considers joining a professional organization. The easy questions can be answered quickly, such as what does it cost? How do I join? Where’s my nearest chapter? Also, what services are available to me as a member?

For APICS, the International website provides the answers to these questions and gives additional information for items you may not have considered.

But the most compelling question to be answered is:

“What’s in it for me?”

That is never a simple answer, but it is one the Princeton South Jersey Chapter (PRSJ) has explored with a series of articles written by its active membership.

With any “well run” organization, the more you put into it, the more you get out. If you join and put little effort in, you will find you get about the same in return.

But when you choose to spend some time getting actively involved, If you attend a professional developmental meeting, take an educational class, sit in on a board meeting) you will find it can be extremely rewarding!

To understand this better, please take the time to follow the link on the PRSJ homepage entitled “What’s In It For Me?” and read what others have gotten out of being a member of the chapter.

It is in our member’s own words, and was voluntarily provided to help others understand what benefits they have received in their own personal involvement with APICS.

ENJOY THE ARTICLES, AND HOPE TO SEE YOU AT A PRSJ EVENT SOON!
